Throwing Stones At a Mirror

This has been on my heart for a while and I couldn’t wait until this post was live. I was touched so deeply as I studied this story.

We know Jesus loves us, but this story helps me rest in His love. It brings peace when my heart is guilty and shamed, yet it also makes me fall in love with the person that God is.

Jesus gives us a beautiful picture of the Father in this story, I’d love you to leave a comment over at the Cafe and share your thoughts.

  1. When I read this post the only verse that came to mind was John 8:7 (NIV) when the harlot was accused of adultery. For those who are without sin cast the first stone Jesus said. I guess that the people who committed this woman must of had sin. The only one with out sin and to throw the first pitch was Jesus. WOW!
