Two shall become One ~ In Sickness and in Health

Photobucket
What does it mean to love for better or for worse, in sickness and in health?

I was looking up the song, “Mighty to Save” by Laura Story so that I could post it for you on Sunday, and I was so touched when I found this video. I just had to save it for TSBO Tuesday. It is Laura Story and her husband Martin’s testimony.

I love this song. We sang it on Sunday, and every time we got to the line, “Savior, You can move the mountains…” I could not get past the word Savior. A lump would well up in my throat and I was overwhelmed at what a mountain-moving God we serve. I am astounded at His goodness.

I believe this video will touch your heart and remind you of the promises you made.

Also…you have to check out these very cool t-shirts for husbands and wives. I love them!

  11. This post reminds me of a friend of mine who was in the middle of a divorce when her hubby was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. The divorce was initiated by her (they had spent years in counseling with him showing no interest in changing some destructive behaviors). In spite of everything, she stood by him for 18+ months – during all his surgeries, chemo treatments, etc. – and while they were still separated (and did ultimately divorce) – it was an incredible act of unselfish love.

  12. Wow, that one got me. I can't belive SHE was the one singing that song…what an amazing story. I am finding it hard to stop crying for some reason. Thank you for sharing that with us.Oh, and the t-shirts are GREAT!
