Peace, be still

Mark 4:39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. NKJV

How powerful is the voice of our God? Oh how I love Him.

Do you long for peace? In your home, at work, in your family, in your church? Does the thought of a great calm seem unreachable? It’s not.

The Word of God holds many keys to peace…

Ps 34:14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. NIV

Ps 37:11 But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace. NIV

Ps 119:165 Great peace have they who love Your law NIV

Prov 17:1 Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife. NIV

Prov 29:17 17 Discipline your son, and he will give you peace NIV

Isa 26:33 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. NIV

And the most important thing I have learned lately

brings me back to the beginning…

Peace…BE STILL.

Selah

With love,

Sue
